Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On June 29, 2024 at approximately 8:27 a.m., police responded to a report of an unwanted person at a residence on Bond Avenue in Tilbury.
Upon arrival, police learned that a man had attended a woman’s residence contrary to his court ordered conditions.
The man was previously released from police custody on these conditions after he had assaulted the woman during a separate incident.
The man, who had fled prior to police arrival, was then located a short time later by investigating officers and placed under arrest for Fail to Comply with Undertaking.
The 23-year-old Tilbury man was ultimately transported to police headquarters where he was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
