The Chatham-Kent Public Library is running its first ever Food for Fines initiative this week. Until Nov. 30, patrons can bring in non-perishable food items to any CKPL branch and, as a thank you, CKPL will waive $5 in overdue fines per donated item, up to a maximum of $50 per account
