Students from A.A. Wright Public School in Wallaceburg took a trip across town to D.A. Gordon Public School this morning (Feb. 26) to meet some of their new friends.
Many of the D.A. Gordon kids will be switching schools to A.A. Wright left September, as D.A. is closing at the end of June.
Ben Hazzard said it is important for the students to meet as many new friends as possible to help lessen anxiety with the transition.
The Grade 3-5 students participated in a range of different fun activities as students from the two schools mingled together. Similar meetings will be taking place with students from H.W. Burgess as well.
