The Bluewater Ferry in Sombra is getting up and running once again today, Saturday March, 8.
Their website states that the Ferry will start operating once again at 2:30 p.m. this afternoon.
The Sombra ferry has been grounded for most of the year due to thick ice in the St. Clair River.
The service was running for about a day and a half last month, before the ferry ended up getting stuck in the river.
The Walpole-Algonac Ferry Line is still not running due to ice in the St.Clair River.
Walpole Island ferry officials say to check back regularly for updates.
