Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) advises that they will be conducting a slowdown of traffic on Highway 401 westbound.
The slowdown will begin east of Harwich Road in order to facilitate the removal of vehicles from the ditch and median, between Harwich Road and Charing Cross Road.
The slowdown is expected to last for approximately three hours in duration. Lane closures are not anticipated at this time, unless deemed necessary for the safety of the Emergency Crews on scene and the motoring public.
We ask the public to be cautious as Emergency crews work at removing the vehicles.
