On April 11, 2014 around 7:30 p.m. emergency crews responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Cundle Line between Charing Cross Road and Communication Road.
A man was travelling eastbound on Cundle Line when his black Ford F-250 left the roadway, struck a hydro pole and rolled multiple times before coming to rest in a field on the north side of the road. The driver and lone occupant in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man has been identified as Justin Laprise, 28 years, of Charing Cross, Ontario.
Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service offer their deepest condolences to the family and friends of
Mr. Laprise.
The collision remains under investigation.
