Just before 7:30 a.m. yesterday morning, police responded to a two vehicle collision on Kent Line near Pond Road in Chatham Township, in between Wallaceburg and Dredsden.
A First Student school bus was travelling westbound on Kent Line when it was struck by a truck travelling northbound on Pond Road. The driver of the truck failed to yield for the bus that was going through the intersection.
There was only student on the bus at the time of the collision. No one was injured. Total damages were estimated at $3500.
A 43-year-old Chatham man was charged with failing to yield the right of way.
