The Wallaceburg Red Devils got a big road win today to kick start their 2014 Ontario Junior ‘B’ Lacrosse League season, beating the Point Edward Pacers 11-8.
Veteran player Jordan Durston led the way with 5 goals and three assists.
Mike Myers had 3 goals and 5 assists, while Evan Mathany chipped in with a goal and 3 assists.
Noble Jacobs made 46 saves for the victory.
The Red Devils are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Six Nations.
Wallaceburg has their home opener on Saturday at Wallaceburg Memorial Arena at 4 p.m. when they host Guelph.
