The 2nd Annual “Support The Port” Spring Fundraiser is coming to the Wilkesport Community Centre on Saturday May 10. The doors open at 8 p.m. This is an over 19 event, tickets for sale at the door for $10. there will be a bar, live music from The Tanya Marie Harris Band and The Twang Bastards.

Over the last few years The Wilkesport Community Centre has made huge improvements and upgrades to both the Community Centre and the park.
Over the past few year the park has put in a new splash pad, a sports pad with basketball nets at hockey nets.
Many trees have been planted and benches have been installed.
It is so nice to look out on a hot day in July and see so many kids cooling off in the splash pad!
It is equally exciting to see a Sunday afternoon game of hockey taking place on the outdoor rink!
Inside the hall there has been major upgrades as well making it a huge draw for couples getting married to hold their wedding receptions there.
The Wilkesport Community Centre is one of the biggest venues in the area.
In order to continue on making all these changes we need the support of our wonderful community and our neighbors as well!
Last year was our first “Support the Port” event and it was a huge success.
We hope to make this year bigger and better then the last!
We have a few fundraisers throughout the year but this is the only one aimed at the younger crowd.
The band will be awesome, there will be a late pizza lunch and a stocked bar!
We hope to see a big turn out again this year.
