Tartans blank Flames; Patriotes top Cards in boys soccer

The Wallaceburg Tartans topped the Chatham Christian Flames 3-0 at WDSS, while the L-K Cardinals fell to Pain Court 2-1 in Kent High School senior boys soccer action today (May 5.)

Tartans 3 – Flames 0

Scoring for the Tartans was Trent Reaume, Marc Kellett and Braydon Fischer.

Robert Griffioen earned the shut-out.

Casey McGee was the game star.

The Tartans are now 1-1 on the season.

Patriotes 2 – Cardinals 1

The Pain Court Patriotes took care of their home field, beating the Lambton-Kent Cardinals 2-1.

Matt McDonald scoreed the lone Casrdinals goals.

He was also named the game star for L-K.

The Cards drop to 0-3 on the season.
