Lifecycle projects given the green light

Chatham-Kent council rubber stamped a number of suggestions by staff for 2014 lifecycle projects.

Projects for buildings, parks, arenas, indoor pools, and outdoors pools will move forward and be completed on a prioritized basis.

Thomas Kelly, general manager of infrastructure and engineering, said the projects will be completed on a prioritized basis.

“We have our list of priorities… but things change throughout the course of a year,” he said.

Kelly added he would provide council with an update on the list of projects, to see which one’s were completed.

Tom Skodak, manager of municipal assets, said in 2013 a total of 44 projects from last years list were completed, compared to about 64 originally being listed.
