Red Devils split weekend road games

The Wallaceburg Red Devils went 1-1 over the weekend in Ontario Junior ‘B’ Lacrosse action. They topped the London Blue Devils 14-4 on Saturday, before dropping a game to Orangeville Sunday 7-4.

Wallaceburg 14 – London 4

Jordan Durston led the way for Wallaceburg with 10 points, 3 goals and 7 assists.

Mike Myers and Evan Mathany also contributed 3 goals each, they each chipped in with an assist as well.

Emily Vandamme picked up the victory in net for Wallaceburg.

Orangeville 7 – Wallaceburg 4

The Red Devils snapped their three game winning streak, dropping this low scoring contest to the Northmen.

Durston led the way with two goals, with Myers and Mitch Gagnier chipping in with one goal each.

Eric Shepley picked up the loss in net for Wallaceburg, making 31 saves along the way.

Wallaceburg will be at home in next game on Friday night, May 16 when the Windsor Clippers come to town.

Game time is 7 p.m.
