A brand new menu has been rolled out by the Baldoon Golf Club in Wallaceburg, just in time for golf season.
Melissa Gaylard, general manager of the club, said the menu is bar/grill style menu.
“We’ve added a few new sandwiches to our menu, we’ve returned the philly steak, we have added a new crispy fish sandwich, and everything is breaded here… it is not pre-frozen, pre-breaded. We do it all ourselves,” she said. “Our burgers are house-made, from scratch.”
Melissa added some new features are included on the menu as well.
“We have a mushroom bruschetta, which is really good and has gone over really well with our staff,” she said. “We have our kettle cooked chips, they got over really well, they’re like a fresh potato chip. We have our cranberry walnut salad, which is very popular because ti is topped with our house-made coconut chicken.”
Melissa said the taps are ready and the beverages are on ice at the club as well.
“We have Bud Light, Keith’s Pale, Budweiser and we’re getting an Orange Shock Top beer, which a citrusy beer for summer,” she said. “We will be trying a few new coolers this summer for the course especially, some frozen coolers. Palm Bay’s come in a frozen form. We’re also trying something called “Wine o’clock” it’s a wine spritzer in a can.”
Melissa the hours are now extended at the club, staying open until at least 8 p.m. every night.
