A woman is in police custody following an incident yesterday at Shopper’s Drug mart in Wallaceburg.
At about 12:15 p.m. police were called in response to a woman whole stole items valued at approximately $300. She fled the store but officers located and arrested her. Upon arrest, she was found to be in possession of drugs.
A 28-year-old woman from Wallaceburg has been charged with theft, possession of property obtained by crime, resist arrest, breaching a probation order, and possession of a controlled substance.
She was released with a future court date.
