Called “funny” and a “sweetheart” by old friends from Wallaceburg, Jeremy “Beau” Taylor is set to be laid to rest in Chatham this week.
The funeral arrangements are set for Taylor, who was fatally stabbed at a party at his residence in London over the weekend.
The public showing will be held May 28, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the McKinlay Funeral Home, located at 459 St. Clair St. in Chatham.
Taylor’s funeral will take place Thursday, May 29 at 11 a.m. at McKinlay Funeral Home with a meal to follow at
Evangel Church, located at 76 Sandys St. in Chatham.
Wallaceburg resident Tasha Trafananko said she remembers Taylor as a “sweetheart
“He’s been gone from Wallaceburg for a bit… he would do anything for anyone. Really kind, and funny… he always could make you smile if you were down,” she said.
Lindsey, another old friend of Taylor’s who asked us not to publish her last name, said their parents were best friends while they were growing up.
“Our families moved to London together… all in the same house,” she said. “He was sweet, funny and a good guy.”
Lindsey, said she was shocked to hear Taylor had been killed.
“He did not deserve it,” she said.
27-year-old Adam Dale Keith – Taylor’s friend and roomate – is in custody charged with second degree murder.
