Dresden is hoping to follow in Wallaceburg’s footsteps with the TSN Kraft Celebration Tour.
The Lambton-Kent Community Sports Field project has been nominated and is included on a list of hundreds of the projects from  across the country hoping to get selected into the Top 10.
The announcement for the Top 10 will be made on July 1, on TSN.

A group of volunteers have been working hard gathering funds in the community for the project, recently receiving funding from the Municipality.
Wallaceburg captured a stop on the tour back in 2011, along with the $25,000 prize.
The funds was used by Wallaceburg Minor Lacrosse to revamp the old tennis courts at Glen Mickle Park for an outdoor lacrosse surface.
