Need some “coaching” to help you with something in your life?

Cathy Cogghe, owner of the Wallaceburg Wellness Centre, along with her team, can help through their variety of coaching services, including: well-being coaching, psychotherapy, transformational coaching, ThetaHealing, family or addictions counseling and tutoring.

Sandra Maltby-Mills

“Sandra specializes in well-being coaching,” Cathy said. “If there is something you want to work your way through, if you want to learn how to relax, if you want to relieve stress in your life, if you want to learn how to sleep well or just feel better, Sandra can help you with that.”

“Some of her specialties are meditation classes. She likes to help people sort out and set their goals for their well-being. Sandra has been in the industry for 20 years. She has been a coach, a yoga instructor, she’s ran classes and even owned a gym of her own at one point. She has been very involved in fitness and in wellness. Now she is helping people move on and be better all around.”

Cathy said some of the things Sandra would ask people, includes: “do they feel like they are losing themselves.? Do they feel like they are losing their focus? Do they have trouble sleeping? Do they feel anxious or worried?”

“Many of us can answer yes to at least one of those questions. When you start asking yourself how you want to work on that, sometimes you need a little help sorting through and finding your priorities. Sandra can help guide people through this.”

Cathy added: “She offers individuals coaching, she also offers workshops and she offers quick fixes. You can come and set up a couple of coaching sessions with her. or you can set up a long-term investment, something that lasts up to six months or a year.”

Maritza Rodriguez-Arseneau

“Maritza is a psychotherapist and a transformational coach, she also offer a technique called ThetaHealing,” Cathy said.

“ThetaHealing is a beautiful cross between psychotherapy and energy work. Together you decide what your project is that day and it is as simple as learning to replace a negative thought or a negative pattern in your thinking and replacing it with a positive version. it is taking that negative thinking, turning it around and re-applying a positive phrase.”

“It is done quite simply, in about half an hour. Maritza has so much experience in the counselling field and psychotherapy field. She is very in tune with people, she reads people very well. She moves very easily with that technique. It is a powerful tool but it is simple.”

Cathy said Maritza alos offers coaching sessions as well.

“You can setup long term sessions or you can setup short term,” she said. “You can see her for a half hour or an hour at a time. Coaching assists people to identify specific goals and helps us decide what direction we want to move in. Sometimes you need to sit with somebody and help prioritize those things. Maritza specializes in self-esteem, forgiveness, stress-management, personal growth, in finding peace and relaxation and achieving balance in a relationship.”

Cathy said when it comes to psychotherapy, Maritza has specialized for many years with adults, children, family and couples for a wide-range of emotional and behavioural issues.

“Everything from depression to anxiety, to grief and stress, to conflicts and anger,” she said. “All of this can affect our lifestyles with our families and with our loved ones. It’s wonderful to be able to sit down for an appointment with somebody, put it on the table and work your way through these things. It brings your life back into balance.”

Anthony Peloza

“Anthony has joined us with many skills,” Cathy said. “He offers academic tutoring as well as counseling. Anthony likes to be able to support children from Grade 1 all the way to Grade 12. He worked for many years with his mother Catherine Peloza as a tutor. He has brought that with him to his counseling services.”

Cathy added: “He is specializing in family and addictions counseling, s anything from anxiety, depression, addictions and others. There are free consultations available to come in and talk to any of our counselors or coaches to setup some time to decide whether their services are best for you.”
