The annual general meeting of the Sydenham District Hospital Corporation is taking place this Thursday in Wallaceburg.
The meeting will be held at the UAW Hall from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The meeting is open to the general public, however, only SDH members are eligible to vote.
The board of directors has not been active for the Sydenham District Hospital Corporation since early May, when five of the seven directors resigned from their positions.
No reasons were given for the resignations.
The Annual General Meetings of Public General and St. Joseph’s Hospitals in Chatham were held today, June 24.

According to a press release, in an effort to align with recognized governance best practices, CKHA’s Board of Directors has reduced the number of directors from seven to five and eliminated the position of community representatives. These changes reflect by-law changes approved by the Boards at today’s annual general meetings.
The following are members of the Tri-Board in an ex-officio capacity by virtue of their offices:
