On June 27, 2014 at approximately 10:57 pm the Chatham Kent Police were contacted to investigate an assault complaint on Dufferin Avenue, Wallaceburg.
Through police investigation it was learned that a male party allegedly approached the victim while he was in his vehicle grabbing him by his shirt and punched him.
He then kicked the victim’s vehicle as he was leaving causing damage to the driver’s door.
The accused, a 30 year old Walpole Island man was located and arrested.
He was eventually released with a future court date charged with assault and Mischief.
The victim, a 19 year old Wallaceburg man did not require any medical attention.
