The Municipality of Chatham-Kent has been given a payment from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation for hosting slots at the Dresden Raceway.
The payment is $183,063.
Reports state host OLG communities benefit in many ways including: increased tourism and job opportunities, and increased revenues to invest more in local priorities and infrastructure projects.
In total, the Municipality has received over $8-million from the OLG.
