This morning (July 28) just before 6:00 a.m. Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the Blue Water Bridge, north span, west bound lanes to investigate an abandoned vehicle.
Subsequently, Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the Point Edward Fire Service responded as well to a female with life threatening injuries who was located on property under the Blue Water Bridge.
The 29 year old female from Camlachie, was transported by Lambton EMS to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
The Lambton OPP investigation into the matter has linked these two incidents and no foul play is suspected.
