Wallaceburg native Shaun Suisham is getting prepared for another season in the National Football League with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Training camp started last week, and Suisham is about to start his 11th season in the league.
Suisham had an excellent season last year as the Steelers starting kicker.
His was successful on 30 of 32 field goal tries, with a long of 48 yards. That is good for a 93.8 per cent clip.
He was perfect on PAT attempts as well, 39-39.
The Steelers have missed the playoffs the last two seasons.
Their season pre-season gets under way on Aug. 9, when hit the road to face the New York Giants.
Pittsburgh starts the regular season at home on Sept. 7 against the Cleveland Browns.
