The crew at Wallaceburg Martial Arts is hoping to break some boards at WAMBO, in order to help break the cycle of domestic and sexual violence.

The group is holding a board breaking challenge on Saturday (Aug. 9) at the south side entertainment area, across from the Wallaceburg and District Museum.

The proceeds are going towards the Chatham-Kent Women’s Centre and the Chatham-Kent Sexual Assault Crisis Centre.

Organizer Henrie Timmers said they are hoping to raise $1,000 at the event.
