Rotary Club of Wallaceburg President Sussan Londry and Secretary Herman Giethoorn attended a Rotary District staff conference at the Children’s Safety Village, near Chatham, Ontario, on Saturday, August 23, 2014.
The many people attending included District Governor Don Riddell, the Assistant District Governors, the Presidents and senior officers of most of the Canadian and Michigan Rotary Clubs in District 6380, which includes southwest Ontario, Canada, and part of Michigan, U.S.A.
The conference presented updates on many Rotary projects within the District and internationally. We also focused on services and topics which will help us grow and provide service for the local, national and international community.
Following the conference we all enjoyed a barbeque at RM Auctions and a tour of the RM Auctions museum.
