More fun keeps getting added to an upcoming event in downtown Dresden.
Local eateries will be featured at a Harvest Dinner on Saturday, Sept. 13 in the downtown core.
The dinner will precede a Much Music Dance Party, being organized by the Sidestreets Youth Centre.
“The Harvest Fest is being sponsored by the Dresden BIA and will feature food from our local restaurants,” said Christal Wills, chair of the BIA. “Each will supply a dish or side for the dinner. Linda and Amber from Bella’s Café have been the organizers and we will be closing down the main street from CIBC to the post office on Saturday to set the table down the middle of the street.”
Wills added: “The band (Last Minute) is going to do an acoustic set from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and the night will be followed by Side Street’s Video Dance that is free.”
Tickets to the dinner are $15 and includes: chicken, potatoes, soup, salad, fresh baked dessert and refreshments.
