Ralph Edward MacNally, a resident of Wallaceburg, died peacefully with his family at his side on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at the age of 88.
Ralph is the son of the late William Henry & Alice Sophia (Avery) MacNally.
Beloved father of Mary Elder (Rev. Brian), Kay Harris (Orville), Sharron MacNally, Ralph MacNally (Kate) and the late Cheryl Gillham.
Dear grandfather of 10 grandchildren and great grandfather of 6 great grandchildren.
Survived by his sister Marguerite Challis (the late Kent).
Predeceased by his brothers Thomas MacNally (late Margaret), Eric MacNally and sister Alice Workman (Clifford).
Ralph was a former Cub, Scout and Venturer Advisor, graduate of the Guelph Agricultural College 1949, farmed in Sombra Twnsp., 2nd Class Stationary Engineer, retired from Lambton Generating Station and member of Pnyx Baldoon Lodge, past District Grand Master, Chatham Valley A.&A.S.R. and Shriners.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 7-9 PM on Friday.
The celebration of Ralph’s life will be led by Rev. Brian Horrobin at the funeral home on Saturday, September 6 at 1:30 PM.
Visiting in the hour prior. Interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery. If desired, remembrances to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or First Baptist Church may be left at the funeral home.
