Drug bust in Wallaceburg

Last night, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section, with the assistance of the Critical Incident Response Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act Search Warrant in Wallaceburg as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

Approximately $10,000 worth of fentanyl, cocaine, oxycodone, morphine and cannabis marijuana were recovered and seized for analysis.

Three sets of digital scales, two sets of brass knuckles, two stun guns and a crossbow were also seized.

A 29-year old man, 38-year old man and 22-year old woman, all from Wallaceburg were arrested and are now facing several drug and weapons charges each.

The 38-year old man and the 22-year old woman were released with conditions pending a future court date of the October 16, 2014.

The 29-year old man has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
