Notice is hereby given to the municipal electors of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent that Nominations may be filed for the following offices:
Mayor, Ward Councillors, School Board Trustees for Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB),St. Clair Catholic District School Board (SCDSB), French Language Catholic Board (Conseil Scolaire de district des Ecoles Catholiques Du Sud-Ouest) and French Language Public Board (Conseil scolaire de district du Centre-Sud-Ouest, CSDCSO).
Nominations are to be in the prescribed form and may be filed at the Civic Centre, any Municipal Centre and Municipal Information Centre in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, or in the case of a School Board, in the office of the Clerk designated to receive nominations for that particular office.
A Nomination must be signed by the Candidate and may be filed in person or by an agent on any day before September 12, 2014, during regular office hours or on September 12, 2014 (Nomination Day), between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
A prescribed Nomination Filing Fee of $200.00 for Mayor and $100.00 for all other offices payable by cash, certified cheque or money order must accompany the Nomination Form
