The Chatham-Kent Community Health Centres (CKCHC) have expanded their primary care family to improve the health and wellbeing of Wallaceburg families.

Dr. Paterno Serezo formally became a branch of the CKCHC family tree during this past spring and has been making great strides within the Community Health Centre as his client roster continues to grow.

Dr. Serezo is no stranger to the Wallaceburg community as prior to joining the CKCHC he operated his own local independent clinic.

With thirty-years of family physician experience, Dr. Serezo has been serving as a part-time primary care physician for the Wallaceburg CKCHC.

“On behalf of the CKCHC Board and collaborative team, we extend our warmest welcome to Dr. Serezo. Dr. Serezo has demonstrated his commitment to this community and his dedication to the clients served at the Chatham-Kent Community Health Centres. Dr. Serezo, through his work with the collaborative interdisciplinary team, has assisted in expanding access to care and is assisting in improving the health and wellbeing of our community,” states Kristen Williams, CEO, CKCHC.

Dr. Serezo obtained his education in the Philippines and he completed a few years of internship and residency with the University of Toronto program. Since his retirement in 2013, he has decided to continue practicing on a part-time basis in family care.

States Dr. Serezo, “I am very pleased to join the staff of the Chatham-Kent Community Health Centres. I look forward to participating in the CKCHC’s team’s efforts to improve health care in the community.”
