At around 5:30 a.m. this morning, emergency crews responded to a single motor vehicle collision behind Thames Lea Plaza in Chatham.
A man driving a Ford Focus collided with the Staples building.
He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance where he succumbed to his injuries.
His name will not be released until next of kin notification has taken place.
The Traffic Management Unit continues to investigate.
