Mrs. Jeannette Marie English passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at the Marshall Gowland Manor, in Sarnia, at the age of 85.
Jeannette was born in Gaspe, Quebec and was a daughter of the late Stanislas and Hilda (Dufresne) Bernard.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph English (1988).
Loving mother of Cindy (Pat) Lauwereys, Joanne (Gary) Kinny, Gerald (Joan) English and James (Cheryl) English.
Sadly missed by 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Kind sister and sister-in-law of Irene & George Dufresne, Annette & Neil Samson, Nicole & Renald Lacasse, Lise & Claude Samuel, Lynn Bernard, Yvon & Carol Bernard, Gille & Jacqueline Bernard.
Predeceased by a son Jack (1993), her sisters Claire and Rena and her brothers, Leo, Philip, Arthur, Alband, Eddy and Gerard.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from Sacred Heart Church in Port Lambton at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery, Port Lambton.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.
As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in Memory of Jeannette Marie English.
