The Lambton-Kent Community Sports Field committee announced that they achieved their goal of raising $50,000 in community and business donations – a fantastic demonstration of civic pride.
On Thursday October 16, North Kent Mutual Insurance Board Chair Scott Kilbride, presented a cheque of $50,000 to Ian Avery in support of the Sports Field Improvement Project, as part of the “Matching Campaign” that had been launched on September 19th.
Both parties were extremely happy with the response to the Matching Funds Campaign and want to express their gratitude to the many supporters of the project.
