Mr. Alvin True, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2014 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 74 years.
Mr. Alvin True, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2014 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 74 years.
Alvin was born in Sudbury, Ontario and was a son of the late Arthur Alvin True and Dorothy Alfretta (Sherrington) True.
Beloved husband of June (Winney) True.
Father of Dean (Sandy) True, Greg (Lisa Charron) Wilton and Tracy True.
Sadly missed by his grandchildren.
Kind brother of Merlyn True, Audrey Goodfellow (Robert predeceased), Norman (Jack) True, Dorothy Rainville (husband Maurice), Sharon Chenier (Husband Gerry) and Laurel True.
Will also be sadly missed by close family friend, Peggy Salisbury.
Also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brothers Harold True and Kenneth True.
Cremation will take place.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from the funeral home.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation may be left at the funeral home.
As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Alvin True.
