AÂ man is in custody for breaching a probation order, after allegedly following two 13-year-old girls in Wallaceburg.
Chatham-Kent police officials said a 37-year-old man, who is bound by a probation order not to communicate by any means with females under the age of 16 years, allegedly spoke to and followed the girls in the area of Dufferin Avenue and Forhan Street.
Police say the females became concerned for their well-being, and with the assistance of a citizen, the police were contacted and the suspect was located and arrested.
The man was set for a bail appearance Sunday morning and will be given a future court date.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service would like to thank the citizen that intervened and assisted the two young females.
