Cheryl Knight & Karel Vitamvas are owners of CK Spices, Coffee & Teas which opened it’s doors in Wallaceburg June 10, 2011 to a very warm and supportive community.
Our shop carries a large selection of teas, spices & special gourmet coffee as well as a range of coffee & tea accessories, custom gift baskets and, more recently, are home to Crowning Glory Cakes.

Our Teas
We carry a variety of over 45 loose teas to chose from as well as a large selection of bagged teas. Customers are always surprised to see the selection we have when they first come in.
Have you ever seen flowering tea?? We carry a variety of beautiful flowering teas. Flowering teas are hand woven tea leaves into a tight bulb that are put into a glass tea pot (for maximum effect) and when hot water is poured onto them, they blossom into different flowers that produce tea. (2-3 pots from each bulb) They can be used as a conversation piece or a centerpiece that would be gorgeous for home or even weddings. Check out this video on Flowering Teas:

Our Coffee
At CK Spices, Coffee & Teas, we carry a special premium gourmet coffee: Las Chicas Del Cafe grown in Nicaragua and roasted in London, Ontario by 2 sisters that have a family plantation in Nicaragua. They are a direct grower which means no middleman!
Each sale of their coffee contributes to the social development of children in their coffee producing community. We carry ground, whole bean and flavoured varieties of this coffee and also offer coffee to go!
Sweeteners
Sugar isn’t the only way to sweeten your cup..we sell Muno Honey (from Alvinston), Honey Pearls (crystallized honey) and Stevia.
Tea & Coffee Accessories
Come in and check out our unique selection of accessories that include tea pots, mugs & cups, strainers & tea balls, French presses, drip catchers, tea bag holders, filter bags, espresso sets, travel mugs & matcha whisks.
Our Spices
We carry over 120 different herbs & spices as well as Chef Paul Prudhomme’s spice blends (that are natural with no MSG or preservatives). If you have a particular spice that is hard to find, check us out!

Cheryl has several years of bakery experience and was the Wedding Cake Coordinator at the Stone Crock Bakery in St Jacobs.
She has taken many professional cake decorating courses and has taught cake decorating in Kitchener, Stratford and currently teaches at Michael’s Arts & Crafts in Chatham.
We have partnered up with several local businesses:
