Wallaceburg walking bridge meeting set

The community is invited to attend a meeting tonight about the Wallaceburg walking bridge.

The meeting will be held today, Wednesday, November 12, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Upper Board Room – 2nd Floor of the Wallaceburg Municipal Offices.

The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is holding the public meeting to discuss the upcoming planned work related to the bridge rehabilitation of the Lou Stonehouse Memorial Walkbridge over the Sydenham River in downtown Wallaceburg.

The purpose of meeting is to inform stakeholders of the scope of work and timing of construction activities for the project.

A brief presentation regarding the project will be made at 6:15 p.m. for all present.

Display boards will be set up and staff will be on hand to respond to any questions posed by stakeholders.

Chatham-Kent officials said area residents, property owners, business operators and those who may have a general interest in this project are encouraged to attend this meeting.
