Salvation Army sets Christmas target

The Salvation Army in Chatham-Kent will be kicked-off their annual Christmas Kettle campaign with their annual Christmas concert.

Officials say the annual campaign is an important fundraiser for The Salvation Army programs in Chatham-Kent that run year round.

The Christmas campaign which includes both the Red Kettles and letter campaign, assist in raising much needed funds for the year round programs as well as Christmas assistance provided.

The goal this year for Chatham-Kent is $450,000.

The Christmas concert was held Saturday at the Capitol Theatre in Chtham and featured The Salvation Army Citadel Band, friends of Buxton Men’s Choir, the Jubilee Choir and the St. Joseph’s Catholic School Choir.
