The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man for breaching his release conditions.

On November 13, 2014, the man was released from custody with several conditions.

One of the conditions stated that he was not to buy, possess or consume alcohol.

Another condition stated that he was not to attend any premises primarily licensed to sell liquor.

On November 15, 2014 the man entered the LCBO in Dresden and purchased a bottle of rye.

The following day, he re-attended the same LCBO and purchased a bottle of vodka.

Police were notified of both incidents.

Last night, police located the man and he was taken into custody.

The 49-year-old Dresden man has been charged with two counts of failing to comply.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
