Members of the Ontario Provincial along with the Ontario Fire Marshall’s office are assisting the Coroner in investigating a fire that has claimed one life.
At approximately 1:15 am this date a passing motorist noticed a vehicle on fire in a driveway at a residence on Mersea Road 6 in the Municipality of Leamington. Leamington Fire was dispatched and when the fire was extinguished a body was found inside.
This matter is still under investigation by the Coroner’s Office, the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office with the Ontario Provincial Police assisting.
