
The Dresden Kings walked into Wallaceburg on Wednesday night and doubled up the Lakers at Memorial Arena.
When it was all said and done, the Kings kept the Lakers reeling with a 6-3 win.
Kevin Ritzer led the way for Dresden with one goal and two assists.
Macks Holmes, Derek Daly, Derrick VanEvery, David Vergeer, and Dillon Liberty all scored for Dresden as well.
Scott Tricker made 31 saves for the win.
Brendan Ritchie, Evan Weidenbach, and Jackson Gray all scored for Wallaceburg, who are winless in their last 11 games.
The Lakers are still clinging to the final playoff spot in the Great Lakes Junior ‘C’ Hockey League, one point ahead of the last place Mooretown Flags.
The Kings currently sit in sixth place in the league.
Dresden will host Blenheim on Friday night, while Wallaceburg will travel to Mooretown on Saturday.
