The annual Santa Claus Parade is coming to Dresden on Saturday night.
The Dresden Kinsmen are running the show again this year, with the theme being: “A Story Book Christmas.”
The parade begins at 6 p.m., with marshalling and judging at Dresden Area Central School at 5 p.m.
The parade start at the school and heads towards the Tiffin Memorial pavilion on St. John Street in the park.
Prized will be handed out for:
– Best Commercial Float
– Best Non-Commercial Float
– Best use of Lights
After the parade, Santa Claus will be at the pavilion handing out candy bags for the kids.
During the parade, St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church are opening their doors for anyone who needs to use the washrooms or get out of the cold at the parade.
They will also be serving free curbside hot chocolate. The church is located across from Foodland at the end of the parade route, 265 St. George Street.
