Update: Toddler dies in fatal 402 rollover

Update: Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continues to investigate a single vehicle rollover collision that occurred on December 13, 2014 just before 9:00 p.m. on Highway 402 west of Oil Heritage Road.

Lambton OPP has identified the deceased passenger as two year old Faith Crockford-Vandermeer of Corunna, ON whose residence was previously noted as Sarnia, ON.

Two injured adults in the vehicle are identified as Daniel Crockford 27 years of age and Leilani WIlliams also 27 years of age both of whom are from Sarnia, ON.

The fourth occupant in the vehicle was four year old Leona Williams.

The OPP investigation continues.

On December 13, 2014, just before 9:00 p.m. Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle rollover collision in the westbound lanes of Highway 402 just west of Oil Heritage Road.

Wyoming firefighters and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) also responded to the collision that claimed the life of a two year old female passenger from Sarnia, ON who had been ejected during the collision.

An adult female passenger 27 years of age from Sarnia, ON was also ejected from the vehicle and she suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The male driver, 27 years of age from Sarnia, ON suffered non-life-threatening injuries and the fourth occupant of the vehicle, a four year old female is being reported as non-injured.

Highway 402 was reduced to one lane during the Lambton OPP investigation that is being assisted by West Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) members.

The investigation into the matter continues and at this time Lambton OPP is not releasing the names of the involved persons.
