Marijuana grow-op busted in Lambton

On December 16, 2014 at approximately 12:56 p.m. members of the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with officers from OPP West Region Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), and Lambton OPP Street Crimes Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residential property in the 5000 block of Nauvoo Road.

Located in an outbuilding was a marijuana grow operation.

As a result of the search being conducted there was a quantity of cannabis marijuana plants in various stages of growth that were seized.

The marijuana has an estimated street value of $30,000.00. Two adult males and an adult female were charged.

A 61-year-old man, a 34-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman, all from Warwick Township have been charged with production of marijuana.

All three adults have Sarnia court dates of February 4, 2015 to answer to the charges.

The matter is now before the courts and there is no further information.
