James (Jim) Wilfred Johnston of Port Lambton

Jim-Johnston-1419342810James Wilfred Johnston (Jim) passed away unexpectedly on Monday December 22nd at the age of 53.

Jim leaves behind his loving wife Bonnie (Bechard), his three beautiful children: Matthew (Rebecca) Johnston, Cindy (Peter) Allen and Katryna (Corey) Riddell and his best buddy Meeko, the family dog.

Jim adored his precious granddaughter, Abigail Johnston, and his grand-dogs.

He will be sadly missed by his mother Shirley Johnston, brothers, Ken, Ray, Kevin (Kelly) and sister, Cathy (Jamie) Taylor.

He was met in Heaven by his father, Gerald Johnston, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Murray and Christina Bechard.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Father Nelligan Council.

Throughout the years, Jim took great pride in running his CarQuest stores in Wallaceburg and Sarnia.

He enjoyed restoring his 1956 Ford Fairlane.

Jim was the loudest fan of the Port Lambton Pirates Senior Men’s baseball team and will be greatly missed by many at the baseball park.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Friday.

The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church in Port Lambton on Saturday, December 27 at 11 AM.

Cremation to follow with interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery at a later date.
