Yesterday, the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section and K9 Unit executed a search warrant on Delaware Avenue in Chatham.
Officers seized approximately $166,000 of cannabis marijuana, almost $3,200 in Canadian currency and $500 in US currency.
Multiple sets of electronic scales and production equipment were also seized.
A 27-year-old Chatham man has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cannabis marijuana and production of cannabis resin.
He was released with conditions pending a future court date.
A 26-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cannabis marijuana and production of cannabis resin.
She was also released with conditions pending a future court date.
