Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith is banged up.

The Providence Bruins winger was sidelined for Wednesday’s game with an upper body injury.

Griffith was hurt on Sunday when he was hit from behind in a game against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

The American Hockey League suspended Penguins right winger Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond for the hit, which resulted in a match penalty for boarding.

There is no word on the extent of Griffith’s injury.

In four games since being sent back down to the AHL, Griffith has two assists.
