The Chatham-Kent police are actively investigating a home invasion.
This morning, shortly after midnight, armed suspects forced their way into a residence north of Chatham.
The intruders assaulted the male homeowner and left with an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry.
The homeowner was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical attention and released.
