Shortly after 9:00 p.m. last night, a man called police from the callbox at the Wallaceburg Service Centre.
An officer attended and found the man under the influence of drugs.
He was unable to care for himself and was taken into custody for his own safety.
Upon being searched incident to arrest, the man was found to be in possession of marijuana.
The 25-year-old Wallaceburg man was charged with drug possession.
He will be released with conditions pending a future court date.
