The K-9 Unit was called in to help locate a suspect in Dover.
On Friday February 20, 2015 at approximately 12:55 a.m., the Chatham-Kent Police Service attended a collision at Bearline Road and Angler Road.
The driver of one vehicle fled on foot, as a result, a search was conducted by the K9 unit as well as assisting officers.
The suspect was located a short time later, at a friend’s residence.
A 49 year old Chatham Township man was arrested and charged with fail to remain.
The driver of the second vehicle was transported to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for observation purposes.
