Bob Myers of Port Lambton

Bob-Myers-1427121996Robert Joseph “Bob” Myers, a resident of Port Lambton, died suddenly at his home on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the age of 77.

Bob is the son of the late Doward & Bella (St. Pierre) Myers. Beloved husband of Diane Rose Marie (Benoit). Loving father of Rosaire Myers (Kimberly Coveny), Denise Myers, Michele Bishop (John Yardley) and Dennis Myers. Dear grandfather of Lindsey (Zach Tranmer), Renee, Aimee, Collette (Nick), Halie, Laura, Gary (Stephanie) and Jessie. Brother of the late Garnet.

Bob had retired from farming in St. Clair Township in 2009, was a retired volunteer firefighter in St. Clair Township, member and past president of the 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus in Wallaceburg, then transferred to the 3rd Degree Fr. Nelligan Council, Port Lambton and was also a member of and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Frank A. Hyde Assembly #2600. He was also a former DeKalb seed dealer and Pfizer sales rep. and owner/operator of Myers Trucking.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 7-9 Tuesday and 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Wednesday. K of C Prayers at 3:30 Wednesday. The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church in Port Lambton on Thursday, March 26 at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
